Give Us Light
Today was the day of light. I finished a project I started to rewire all the elsewhere lamps! I remember just a week ago how dark it was in the spaces that I loved in this building and feeling like I was deep in a hole with no tunnel out. I rewired 10 lamps and loving marked them with the jade tag. I felt like my grandfather rewiring old lamps that currently had rotten, explored wire running through its veins. I cannot wait to call him- I feel he will be proud. It was nice to see them all together on the third floor. This feels like one of those tiny projects that help the others feel comfortable and happy in their spaces, especially the toy room.
